Medical Innovation Centre Ltd.

Medical Innovation Centre Ltd. is a special purpose vehicle, in which the only shareholder is the Medical University of Gdańsk, was entered into the National Court Register on January 8, 2015.


According to the provisions of the Act on Higher Education, a special purpose vehicle was established to manage intellectual property rights, in particular industrial property rights, which are to lead to the commercialization of inventions. The company may pursue the goal of commercialization by taking up shares in capital companies or may create capital companies that are established to implement the results of scientific research or development work carried out at the MUG.
